Daicel Safety Systems India Private Limited (DSSI) is a premier manufacturer of automotive safety components, dedicated to protecting lives across India’s rapidly growing automotive ecosystem. Established in October 2018 as a strategic hub for Daicel Corporation's Safety Strategic Business Unit (SBU), we blend over a century of Japanese engineering excellence with local Indian manufacturing capabilities.

From our state-of-the-art facility at the One Hub Chennai Industrial Park in Tamil Nadu, we engineer high-precision, hyper-reliable pyrotechnic devices that serve as the "invisible heroes" of every journey. We are the first company in India to start the manufacturing of Airbag inflators in line with the vision of Indian Government "Make in India. Driven by our core global philosophy,"We Save Lives", we ensure that tens of millions of drivers and passengers are protected by the world’s finest safety systems.
